Notice:Due to a lapse in appropriations, the majority of USGS websites may not be up to date and may not reflect current conditions. Websites displaying real-time data, such as Earthquake, Volcano, LANDSAT and Water information needed for public health and safety will be updated with limited support. Additionally, USGS will not be able to respond to inquiries until appropriations are enacted. For more information, please see www.doi.gov/shutdown.

Notes
Water-quality criteria or standards of 200 col/100mL, 2000 col/100mL, and 2000 col/100mL
for fecal coliform bacteria are plotted as horizontial dashed lines
(more...).
A second, smaller plot indicates the statistical probability
that the computed values have exceeded
these criteria or standards.
The statistical (regression) model used to compute
fecal coliform bacteria is site specific.
Gaps in data occur either when data are not
available or their values are outside of the range for the regression model.
Users should consider these factors, as well as uncertainty associated
with regression-model computed data, when applying this information
to specific issues.
